8) Away in a Manger
I have a small home made banjo I have owned for years. It was made by a man last name Green who made many instruments. It is very ruff around the edges and has a home made look to it. For some reason I have held on to it. This is the instrument used in the intro and for rhythm thru-out the song, along with a mandolin I may or may not have any longer. It’s got a very rustic sound, as does the song overall, even including my out of tune vocals in the beginning. :) Imperfections are such a beautiful part of life. I think the lead section (simple mandolin) is my favorite part of the song. What’s yours? Peace. Frazier
